What Fio Smartbanking can do
With the mobile app, you can perform almost all operations as in classic Internet banking. And even a little extra, such as scanning QR codes, account numbers or deposit slips. What's more, we're constantly updating Smartbanking and adding new features. Take a look at a summary of the most important things it offers.
PERFECT OVERVIEW
Keep track of your account at all times with movement reports and notifications, and now you can keep your account in sight with a balance widget on your desktop. You can choose to display it as an amount or a percentage of a set limit. How to do it?
1. In Smartbanking, enable widgets in the settings (My Fio > Settings > Widgets).
2. On your phone screen, long press a blank space > tap Widgets > Fio bank.
3. Tap (or hold and move) the widget to the desired location, and customize it as needed with the expanded settings menu (account, mode, amount or percentage display).
FOUR APP MODES
You can use the app to its full potential, or choose passive mode when you activate it to get started, where you can see balances, account movements and other reports. A new feature is the authorization mode, which is used exclusively to quickly confirm transactions. A combination of passive and authorization mode is also available.
WIDE CUSTOMISATION OPTIONS
You have the ability to customize your home screen to see the most used reports and features at a glance - add accounts, cards or buttons to quickly enter payments. Accounts can even be sorted or color coded. You can also have notifications of account movements sent directly to your phone.
FAST PAYMENTS
You can pay by taking a picture of a QR code, retrieving a receipt, account number or image from the gallery, create QR codes with Pay Me, manage templates and even standing orders. You can easily and securely confirm online card payments and orders entered in Internetbanking on your mobile.
CARD CONTROL
The app lets you monitor your card spending limits and adjust them at any time. You can also temporarily or permanently block your card here.
In the Settings section, you can quickly set up insurance for your card or block certain types of transactions, such as those with unfavorable exchange rates (DCC) or additional withdrawal fees charged by the ATM operator.
If you want to pay with your phone, simply add your card to Google Pay or Apple Pay. Then you can pay just by tapping your phone. You can easily see where your card is linked under the Wallets overview.
You can digitize your card immediately after applying for it—see the instructions on how to pay with your new card right away.
Another new feature is the “View details” option, where you’ll find all the necessary details of your payment card, typically in case you need them for online payments. For your security, access to this information is subject to authorization and is time-limited.
INVESTMENT
In the Investment section you will find a range of Fio mutual funds, so you can invest in a few clicks. You can follow the development of your investments in a clear graph showing your purchases or sales.
NEW PRODUCTS AND MORE
You can easily communicate with the bank (Fio servis - the envelope symbol on the top right of the Dashboard), arrange a new account, as well as a savings account, loan or card. Or invest with a few clicks (see below).
You can choose to secure the app with a PIN, fingerprint or a glance at the display. The app can also use dark mode. It will direct you to the nearest branch. And, of course, much more.
