Paying with your Garmin smartwatch
Add our payment card to your smartwatch and make full use of it. You can pay with them wherever you would normally use a contactless card payment. And you can also use your watch to withdraw money from an ATM.
Garmin Pay
You can upload a Visa, Mastercard (debit and credit) or Maestro payment card to a Garmin watch that supports NFC simply:
1. Download an Garmin Connect application to your device. You can find it in Google Play or App Store.
2. Select Garmin Pay in the main menu and select the device where you want to activate Garmin Pay.
3. Add your card according to the instructions directly in the application. Set your PIN for payment, fill in other card details and agree to the terms and conditions. Authorize everything.
- Card addition cannot be authorized by push notification. So if you have them on, please turn them off in Smartbanking for the moment.
4. Done, you can pay with your smartwatch.
How to pay
- Select the Garmin Pay service on your watch (wallet image).
- Enter the PIN.
- If you have multiple cards on your device, you can scroll between them. Place your watch against the payment terminal.
- Hold the watch at the terminal for a while until the payment is completed and a confirmation of successful payment is displayed on the terminal and the watch.
